CVE-2019-20734 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting numerous NETGEAR router and extender models, including the D6220, R7000, and EX7000, among others, across various firmware versions. This flaw, potentially an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-18864, allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service. With a CVSS v3.1 score of 8.8 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
