CVE-2019-19992 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting Selesta Visual Access Manager (VAM) versions 4.15.0 through 4.29. An authenticated attacker can exploit a flaw in the /common/vam_editXml.php page to read arbitrary XML files on the underlying filesystem by manipulating the filename parameter. This vulnerability has a CVSS v3.1 score of 6.5 (Medium), indicating a low attack complexity and no user interaction required, but it does require valid credentials for exploitation, leading to a high impact on confidentiality. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
