An authenticated attacker can exploit a flaw in the /common/vam_editXml.php script to create and write arbitrary files, including executable code, anywhere on the filesystem. This vulnerability carries a CVSSv3 score of 8.8 (High), indicating a network-based attack with low complexity that can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
