CVE-2019-18842 describes a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the configuration web interface of Jinan USR IOT USR-WIFI232-S/T/G2/H Low Power WiFi Modules (web version 1.2.2). This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.1) allows an unauthenticated attacker to leak Wi-Fi access point credentials and web interface login credentials. The attack requires user interaction, as the victim must connect to a malicious Wi-Fi access point with a specially crafted SSID. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
