CVE-2019-17445 describes a symbolic link following vulnerability in Eracent EDA, EPA, EPM, EUA, FLW, and SUM Agent versions through 10.2.26. When the agent is configured for non-root operations, an attacker can exploit this flaw to copy arbitrary files from the filesystem to other locations. Rated as Medium severity (CVSS 5.5), this vulnerability requires local access and low privileges, but has low attack complexity and can lead to high confidentiality impact. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
