CVE-2019-17334

CVE-2019-17334 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Visualizations component of TIBCO Spotfire products, including Analyst, Analytics Platform for AWS Marketplace, Deployment Kit, Desktop, and Desktop Language Packs. It allows an authenticated attacker with DXP file write permissions to the Spotfire library to achieve remote code execution on the user accounts of other users accessing the system. The attack requires the attacker to have write access to a network file system shared with the affected system. Despite its high CVSS score of 8.0, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
