CVE-2019-1715 describes a vulnerability in the Deterministic Random Bit Generator (DRBG) within Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software. This flaw, stemming from insufficient entropy during cryptographic key generation, allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a cryptographic collision.
