CVE-2019-17134 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting OpenStack Octavia versions 0.10.0 through 2.1.1, 3.0.0 through 3.1.2, and 4.0.0. An attacker on the management network can bypass client-certificate authentication on the Octavia Agent (port 9443) due to an incorrect SSL certificate requirement setting. This allows unauthorized retrieval of information or issuance of configuration commands. With a CVSS score of 9.1 (Critical), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, potentially leading to full compromise of confidentiality and integrity.
