CVE-2019-1648 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the user group configuration in Cisco SD-WAN Solution. An authenticated, local attacker can exploit this flaw by writing a specially crafted file to the user group configuration directory, bypassing proper parameter validation. This vulnerability carries a high CVSS score of 7.8, indicating a significant risk of gaining root-level privileges and full device control with low attack complexity.
