CVE-2019-1598 describes multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities in the LDAP feature of various Cisco FXOS and NX-OS software products, including Firepower, MDS, Nexus, and UCS series devices. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities by sending a specially crafted LDAP packet from a configured LDAP server's IP address, causing the affected device to reload. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability has a network attack vector, low attack complexity, and a high impact on availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
