CVE-2019-15012 is a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Atlassian Bitbucket Server and Bitbucket Data Center. An authenticated attacker with write permissions to a repository can exploit this flaw by using the edit-file endpoint to write arbitrary files to the Bitbucket instance, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), indicating a network-based attack with low complexity and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
