CVE-2019-14551 is a critical vulnerability affecting Das Q software (versions prior to 2019-08-02) and associated Daskeyboard models (4Q, 5Q, X50Q). It allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on client machines by manipulating a cross-origin /install request with a malicious releaseUrl, leading to the download and execution of code from a ZIP archive. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, resulting in complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While no public exploit code or active exploitation has been observed, and community discussion is minimal, the high severity warrants immediate patching.
