CVE-2019-14238 describes a vulnerability in STMicroelectronics STM32F7 devices where the Proprietary Code Read Out Protection (PCROP) can be bypassed. An attacker with physical access can use a debug probe via the Instruction Tightly Coupled Memory (ITCM) bus to defeat this software IP protection. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.6) allows for high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact, requiring physical access and low privileges. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
