CVE-2019-13405 describes a critical broken access control vulnerability in Advan VD-1 firmware version 230, affecting androvideo vd_1 devices. An unauthenticated attacker can enable ADB by sending a POST request to cgibin/AdbSetting.cgi, leading to full compromise of the device. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability allows for complete confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise, enabling attackers to use the device as a relay or install malicious software.
