The vulnerability stems from a weak default Wi-Fi password and SSID generation scheme, where both are derived from a limited 8-character input using the same hash function. This design flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to deduce the Wi-Fi password from the SSID. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability presents a low-complexity network attack vector that can lead to full compromise of the device, granting root access.
