CVE-2019-11356 is a critical arbitrary code execution vulnerability affecting the CalDAV feature in Cyrus IMAP versions 2.5.x through 2.5.12 and 3.0.x through 3.0.9, impacting distributions like Canonical, Cyrus, Debian, FedoraProject, and Red Hat. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability can be exploited remotely without authentication or user interaction via a crafted HTTP PUT operation containing a long iCalendar property name, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity and ease of exploitation, there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), nor is it listed on the CISA KEV catalog, and it has received no community discussion or media coverage.
