CVE-2019-10999 is a high-severity stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the alphapd web server of several D-Link DCS series Wi-Fi cameras, including models like DCS-5009L and DCS-930L. A remotely authenticated attacker can exploit this by providing a long string in the WEPEncryption parameter when requesting wireless.htm, leading to arbitrary code execution. With a CVSS score of 8.8, the attack requires low privileges, has low complexity, and can result in high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
