CVE-2019-10190 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting the DNS resolver component of Knot Resolver versions through 3.2.0 before 4.1.0, including those in Fedora Project distributions. This flaw allows remote attackers to bypass DNSSEC validation for non-existent domains (NXDOMAIN answers), causing invalid responses to be passed to clients instead of a SERVFAIL. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to high integrity impacts without requiring user interaction.
