CVE-2019-10120 describes a critical vulnerability in eQ-3 HomeMatic CCU2 devices before firmware 2.41.8 and CCU3 devices before firmware 3.43.16, allowing an attacker to bypass authentication. This flaw, identified as HMCCU-154, permits the continuation of a session ID even after a user has logged out, effectively enabling automatic login. With a CVSS v3 score of 8.8 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and privileges, potentially leading to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
