CVE-2019-0214 describes an arbitrary file write vulnerability in Apache Archiva versions 2.0.0 through 2.2.3. An authenticated attacker can exploit the artifact upload mechanism to write or overwrite files at arbitrary locations on the Archiva server, provided the Archiva user has sufficient filesystem permissions. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) has a low attack complexity and high impact on integrity, as it allows for unauthorized modification of server files.
