CVE-2018-7994 is a memory leak vulnerability affecting several Huawei products, including IPS Module, NGFW Module, NIP series, and Secospace/USG firewalls, specifically in their V500R001C50 and V500R002C10 versions. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending numerous Protal questionnaires, causing the device to run out of memory and reboot, leading to a denial of service. Rated with a CVSSv3 score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
