CVE-2018-5495 is a critical vulnerability affecting all versions of NetApp StorageGRID Webscale. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw remotely over the network with low complexity. Successful exploitation could lead to full compromise of the Admin Node, allowing communication with other systems on the same network via HTTP, or complete takeover of services on the Admin Node, resulting in high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its critical severity (CVSS 9.8), there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is it listed on the KEV catalog, and it has received minimal community discussion or media coverage.
