CVE-2018-4073 is a high-severity Permission Assignment vulnerability in the ACEManager EmbeddedAceSet_Task.cgi functionality of Sierra Wireless AirLink ES450 firmware version 4.9.3. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to make arbitrary changes to system settings by exploiting a similar endpoint, /cgi-bin/Embeded_Ace_TLSet_Task.cgi. With a CVSS score of 8.8, the vulnerability has a network attack vector, low attack complexity, and can lead to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
