CVE-2018-4059 describes an unsafe default configuration vulnerability in coTURN prior to version 4.5.0.9. The coTURN server, by default, exposes an unauthenticated telnet administrative portal on the loopback interface. This critical vulnerability (CVSS 9.8) allows an attacker with access to the telnet port to gain full administrator access to the TURN server, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While the vulnerability is severe, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
