CVE-2018-3923 is a high-severity memory corruption vulnerability (CWE-787) affecting Computerinsel Photoline 20.54. It allows an attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution by crafting a malicious PCX image, leading to an out-of-bounds write when processed by the application. The attack requires user interaction (UI:R) to open the malicious file, but once triggered, it grants high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts (C:H/I:H/A:H).
