CVE-2018-20841 describes a critical remote command execution vulnerability affecting HooToo TripMate Titan HT-TM05 and HT-05 routers with specific firmware versions. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting shell metacharacters into the 'mac' parameter of a specific web request, leading to arbitrary command execution on the device. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, allowing for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
