CVE-2018-18689
CVE-2018-18689 is a Signature Wrapping vulnerability in the Portable Document Format (PDF) specification, stemming from a lack of clear signature validation procedures. This allows attackers to manipulate /ByteRange and xref data, bypassing signature validation in numerous PDF products including Foxit Reader, PhantomPDF, Nitro Pro, and PDF-XChange Editor. Rated Medium (CVSS 5.3), it has a low attack complexity and can lead to information disclosure (C:L).
