CVE-2018-18566 describes an information disclosure vulnerability in the SIP service of Polycom VVX 500 and 601 devices running firmware versions 5.8.0.12848 and earlier. This flaw allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive phone configuration information when the devices are used with an on-premise Skype for Business installation. Rated as Medium severity (CVSS 5.3), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, potentially leading to a loss of confidentiality.
