Remote attackers can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted "ZIP bomb" to the decodeRequest or decodeRequestWith directives, leading to excessive memory consumption and a daemon crash. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, resulting in a complete loss of availability.
