CVE-2018-15797 describes a critical information disclosure vulnerability in Cloud Foundry NFS volume releases prior to specified versions (1.2.5, 1.5.4, 1.7.3). During the nfsbrokerpush BOSH deploy errand, the Cloud Foundry admin username and password are inadvertently logged. This allows a remote authenticated user with BOSH access to retrieve these credentials from the deploy errand logs, leading to full compromise of the Cloud Foundry platform. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable with low attack complexity and no user interaction, resulting in high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
