CVE-2018-15573 is a critical arbitrary file read/write vulnerability affecting Reprise License Manager (RLM) through version 12.2BL2. Attackers can leverage the unauthenticated web interface, typically on port 5054, to write arbitrary data to any file on the disk with the same permissions as the rlm.exe process. This vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 8.8 (High) due to its network-based attack vector, low complexity, and high potential for confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. Despite the vendor's denial of it being a vulnerability, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
