CVE-2018-15153 is an OS command injection vulnerability affecting OpenEMR versions prior to 5.0.1.4. A remote authenticated attacker can exploit this by modifying the "hylafax_server" global variable and then making a crafted request to interface/main/daemon_frame.php, leading to arbitrary command execution. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges and no user interaction, allowing for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While it has a high EPSS score, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
