CVE-2018-13341 affects Crestron TSW-X60 (all versions prior to 2.001.0037.001) and MC3 (all versions prior to 1.502.0047.00) devices. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with regular user privileges to calculate passwords for special sudo accounts. Exploiting this flaw enables attackers to execute hidden API calls, escape the CTP console sandbox, and achieve elevated privileges, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While rated with a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
