CVE-2018-1295

33
FAUCET Score

CVE-2018-1295 is a critical deserialization vulnerability affecting Apache Ignite versions 2.3 and earlier. It allows for arbitrary code execution due to the absence of a class allowlist in the serialization mechanism, enabling attackers to exploit vulnerable third-party classes present in Ignite's classpath. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no authentication or user interaction required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity and potential for remote code execution, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion or media coverage.
