CVE-2018-12019 describes a signature verification bypass vulnerability in Enigmail versions prior to 2.0.7. This flaw allows remote attackers to spoof email signatures by crafting public keys with malicious primary user IDs, as Enigmail incorrectly interprets these IDs as status messages. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to high integrity impact without requiring user interaction.
