CVE-2018-10589 is a critical path traversal vulnerability affecting multiple Advantech WebAccess products, including versions V8.2_20170817 and prior, V8.3.0 and prior, Dashboard V.2.0.15 and prior, SCADA Node prior to 8.3.1, and WebAccess/NMS 2.0.3 and prior. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely with low attack complexity. With a CVSS score of 9.8, the potential impact is severe, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its critical severity, there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and it has not been added to CISA's KEV catalog, nor is there significant community discussion or media coverage.
