CVE-2018-1002200, also known as 'Zip-Slip', is a directory traversal vulnerability affecting plexus-archiver before version 3.6.0, as well as products from codehaus-plexus, Debian, and Red Hat. Attackers can exploit this by crafting malicious archive entries containing "../" to write arbitrary files outside the intended extraction directory. With a CVSS score of 5.5 (Medium), this vulnerability requires user interaction (UI:R) and local access (AV:L) to achieve high integrity impact (I:H).
