31
FAUCET Score

CVE-2018-0680 describes a critical vulnerability in Denbun by NEOJAPAN Inc. (POP version V3.3P R4.0 and earlier, IMAP version V3.3I R4.0 and earlier) where hard-coded credentials allow remote attackers to gain unauthorized access. This flaw enables attackers to read/send emails or alter configuration settings. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While no public exploits or active exploitation have been observed, and community discussion is minimal, the inherent risk remains high due to the nature of hard-coded credentials.
