CVE-2018-0459 describes a vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software (NFVIS). An authenticated, low-privileged remote attacker can exploit insufficient server-side authorization checks to send a crafted HTTP request. This allows the attacker to reboot or shut down the affected system, resulting in a high availability impact. While rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.5), there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
