CVE-2018-0415 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in Cisco Small Business 100 and 300 Series Wireless Access Points, stemming from improper processing of Extensible Authentication Protocol over LAN (EAPOL) frames. An authenticated, adjacent attacker can exploit this by sending crafted EAPOL frames, leading to disassociation of all connected stations and preventing new associations. Rated 6.8 (Medium) on CVSSv3, this vulnerability requires local network access and authenticated privileges, but has high impact on availability. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
