CVE-2018-0332 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Cisco Unified IP Phone software, stemming from a lack of flow-control mechanisms in its Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) ingress packet processing. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by sending a high volume of SIP INVITE traffic, leading to service disruption on the targeted phone.
