CVE-2018-0137 is a high-severity denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Cisco Prime Network due to insufficient TCP throttling. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by sending a high rate of TCP SYN packets, causing the device to consume excessive memory, slow down, or cease accepting new connections. With a CVSS score of 8.6, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
