This flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service through an out-of-bounds read by sending a specially crafted DNS response. Rated with a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, leading to a complete loss of availability.
