CVE-2017-9384

28
FAUCET Score

CVE-2017-9384 is a critical command injection vulnerability affecting VeraEdge 1.7.19 and Veralite 1.7.481 devices. The vulnerability stems from improper sanitization of the "remote_host" parameter within the relay.sh script, allowing an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands via the web user interface. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this flaw presents a significant risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and high potential for confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, nor are there publicly available exploit modules in Metasploit or Nuclei, and it has received minimal community discussion or media coverage.
