CVE-2017-6678 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in Cisco Virtualized Packet Core-Distributed Instance (VPC-DI) Software versions 19.2 through 21.0. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit insufficient handling of user-supplied data by sending crafted UDP packets to cause both control function instances to reload, leading to a complete system reload and disconnection of all subscribers.
