CVE-2017-6023 describes a critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Ether_cfg software configuration tool used with Fatek Automation PLC Ethernet Modules (CBEH, CBE, CM55E, CM25E firmware versions prior to V3.6 Build 170215). This vulnerability, rated 9.8 Critical, allows an unauthenticated attacker to achieve remote code execution or crash affected devices with low attack complexity.
