CVE-2017-5371 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the OData Server component of SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 16. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a series of specially crafted requests, leading to a process crash. Rated with a CVSSv3 score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, resulting in a complete loss of availability.
