CVE-2017-4992 is a critical privilege escalation vulnerability affecting various versions of Cloud Foundry cf-release, UAA, and UAA BOSH release. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to perform arbitrary password resets through user invitations. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
