CVE-2017-4913 is an integer-overflow vulnerability in the True Type Font parser (TPView.dll) affecting VMware Workstation (prior to 12.5.3) and Horizon View Client (prior to 4.4.0). This flaw, with a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), allows a guest or View desktop to execute code or cause a Denial of Service on the host Windows OS, but only if virtual printing is enabled. While not enabled by default in Workstation, it is enabled by default in Horizon View. There is no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
