CVE-2017-1710 describes a critical privilege escalation vulnerability in the Service Assistant GUI of IBM Storwize V7000 (2076) 8.1 and other IBM storage products. This flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to gain full control over affected systems due to its network-based attack vector and low complexity. Despite its critical CVSS score of 9.8, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
